width: 100%;\" class=\"slide-894 ms-image \" aria-roledescription=\"slide\" aria-label=\"slide-894\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/piattaformaintellect.it\/V2\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/University_of_Modena_and_Reggio_Emilia_in_2018.09-scaled-700x300.jpg\" height=\"300\" width=\"700\" alt=\"\" class=\"slider-891 slide-894\" title=\"University_of_Modena_and_Reggio_Emilia_in_2018.09\" \/><\/li>\n            <\/ul>\n        <\/div>\n        \n    <\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The inter-university centre is based at the Department of History, Heritage, Education and Society of Tor Vergata University of Rome and the Department of Education and Human Sciences of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its aim is to propose and coordinate research and studies of a multi and interdisciplinary nature on the themes of digital education and heritage, with particular reference to the promotion of critical thinking, with a view to supporting the social role of the museum as an instrument of cultural well-being and participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Centre is developed by a close connection between new teaching methodologies and the use of innovative digital tools in order to develop transversal competences in all users of cultural heritage, especially the socially disadvantaged, and to strengthen channels and tools in the area of cultural mediation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The foundation of the Centre is based on the idea that the preservation, valorisation and promotion of cultural heritage play a pivotal role in the well-being (Chatterjee &amp;
