for the elite public who traditionally frequent it, but also for the categories of visitors who are still excluded from it. In the field of cultural heritage, therefore, the need to make proposals that can meet the needs of different visitors, understood as categories of distinct audiences based on social, cultural and personal variables, is increasingly advancing.\u00a0<\/p><p>Their characteristics must be studied in order to formulate programs that satisfy both their implicit and explicit cultural demands. The courses have as objectives: the analysis of the characteristics of communication and cultural mediation within the museum; the interpretation of the museum as a tool for lifelong education; the mastery of an appropriate terminological set; the definition of the relationship between the main marketing functions as the organizational context of the museum&#8217;s educational function.<\/p><p><strong>Research projects<\/strong><\/p><p>Some research projects carried out by the Museum Education Center will be exhibited in the FADs, in order to show students the direct application of the knowledge learned: how to identify the characteristics of the target audience and how to organize an empirical survey.<\/p><p><strong>Study and research seminars<\/strong><\/p><p>The face-to-face meetings aim to introduce the techniques and IT tools for museum education, to provide the necessary information for the preparation of European projects and for the definition of a research project in the museum field.<\/p><p><strong>Operational experimentation stage<\/strong><\/p><p>During the exercise, the opportunity will be given to design structured teaching and educational proposals, consistent with the various types of museums, followed by an evaluation of the interventions.<\/p><p><strong>Audiovisual Didactic Units<\/strong><\/p><p>The goal of the activity is to recognize and analyze some communication strategies applicable during museum educational activities.<\/p><p>Documentary Didactic Units and Monthly Researches<br \/>The course includes the illustration of examples of the use of tools, data analysis and questionnaire processing, for an individual development of evaluation tools to be applied in the museum environment.<\/p><p><strong>Internship<\/strong><br \/>The internship, lasting a minimum of 3 weeks, will take place at a museum or at an Italian company. The teaching and research activities will be covered by the Master, while travel, board and lodging expenses will be borne by the participants.<br \/>During the operational experimentation internship, the participants will fine-tune the research hypothesis and submit it to verification for the drafting of the final research project. The meetings with experts in the sector of the second year can be followed in the presence, within the headquarters of the Department of Education and Human Sciences of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia or the Department of Education of the Roma Tre University (a depending on the organization of the meeting), or remotely, through the Remote Training platform made available by the didactic office of the master.
